Superhuman Badminton ("the app") is a badminton training app. We designed it to collect as little data as possible.
Your training data stays on your device. Your profile (training preferences, injuries you flag, schedule), workout history, streaks, XP and badges are stored locally on your device.
Account (optional). You can use the app without an account, in which case we collect no email address at all. If you choose to create one - to sync across devices or post on the feedback board - authentication is handled by Supabase, our authentication provider, which stores your email and a securely hashed password so you can sign back in. We do not receive or store your password in readable form.
Product analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the app is used (for example: onboarding completed, a workout finished, the paywall viewed) so we can improve it. Events are tied to your account ID and email. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising. See PostHog's privacy policy.
Feedback board. If you post on the in-app feedback board, your post (title, text, category) and your votes are stored with our backend provider Supabase and shown to other signed-in users together with a display name derived from the part of your email address before the @. Do not include personal information in posts. You can delete your own posts at any time in the app and report others' posts for review; deleting your account removes your posts and votes.
Transactional email. We may send service emails (for example a welcome email) to your account address via Resend, our email delivery provider, which processes your email address solely to deliver the message. See Resend's privacy policy.
Subscription data. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipts to validate your subscription. They do not receive your training data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Waitlist. If you join the waitlist on our website, we store the email address you enter (in Supabase) solely to notify you when the app launches. We do not share it, and you can ask us to remove it at any time via the contact address below.
No ads, no ad tracking, no selling of data. No access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos.
Training reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device on the days you selected. They can be disabled anytime in your device settings or in the app's Settings tab.
Uninstalling the app, or using "Reset everything" in Settings, permanently deletes all locally stored training data. If you created an account, Settings → Delete account removes it and its records from within the app - you do not need to contact us. You can also email us at the address below. Subscription records held by Apple/Google/RevenueCat are subject to their retention policies.
The app is not directed at children under 13.
